Sara is a former national partner at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. She has a leading profile in Asia Pacific and is one of the region's most experienced practitioners in BPO, ITO and operational outsourcing such as maintenance and logistics. She has consulted to nearly 80 private and public sector clients in 95 projects with contract values up to $1.5 billion per annum covering 50 diverse business functions. These functions include accounting and finance; asset, equipment and infrastructure construction and maintenance; culture and recreation services; fault and help desks; food and catering services; grounds and facilities management; HR; inbound and outbound call centers; IT; logistics and warehousing; property and CRE management; and sales.

As an author, Sara has produced 19 best practice guides. Her publications include Intelligent IT Outsourcing, Outsourcing: Exploding the Myths, Contract Management Better Practice Guide, Best Practices in ITO, Lessons Learnt in Outsourcing, "Management of IT Outsourcing", "Outsourcing Guidelines" and "Outsourcing: What Auditors Need to Know", in addition to research with Oxford and Melbourne Universities since 1994. As a prominent specialist, she has conducted seven reviews for government, been featured in 40+ articles and presented in over 100 major conferences.
